UK Roots at its very finest! Capital Letters were a band formed in Wolverhampton however following a move to London they ended up working with Greensleeves co-founder Chris Cracknell to great effect. ‘Headline News’ features all you would expect from a brilliant UK Roots outfit in the late 70s, think Aswad, Misty In Roots & Steel Pulse with the style and swagger of Greensleeves Records in the mix. Standout tracks include the evocative ’Smoking My Ganja’ and the amazingly infectious rhythm ‘UK Skanking’.
